It also finds YouTube creators by keyword or channel URL — with subscribers, emails, owners and a personalization line. See YouTube Scraper (https://prospectcheap.com/docs/youtube-scraper). And it finds businesses running Facebook ads from the Ads Library. See FB Ads Scraper (https://prospectcheap.com/docs/fb-ads-scraper). And it finds new startups on Product Hunt with their founders and contacts. See Product Hunt Scraper (https://prospectcheap.com/docs/product-hunt-scraper). ## How it works - You choose a niche (for example "Dentist"), a location ("Austin, Texas") and a country. - Prospect Cheap searches Google Maps and collects every matching business, in the order Google Maps ranks them. - Each business website is visited to collect public contact emails, social profiles and the owner's name, and every phone number is checked to see whether it's mobile, landline or VoIP. - The results are saved as a list. Open it to search, filter, view each business and export to CSV. ## Where to start - Quick Start (https://prospectcheap.com/docs/quick-start) — your first lead list in a few minutes. - Data Fields (https://prospectcheap.com/docs/data-fields) — every field a lead can have. - Authentication (https://prospectcheap.com/docs/authentication) — API access (coming soon). ## For AI assistants These docs are public and plain HTML. A text version of every page is at https://prospectcheap.com/llms.txt (https://prospectcheap.com/llms.txt). --- # Quick Start Section: Getting Started URL: https://prospectcheap.com/docs/quick-start Build a lead list from the dashboard. No code needed. ## 1. Open the GMaps Scraper Sign in and choose GMaps Scraper in the sidebar, or go to https://prospectcheap.com/gmaps-scraper (https://prospectcheap.com/gmaps-scraper). ## 2. Run a search - Niche — the kind of business, e.g. `Plumber`. Pick a suggestion or type your own. - Location — a city, region or area, e.g. `Texas City, Texas`. - Country — narrows the search to one country. - Options (the sliders button) — how many photos to download per business, max results (up to 500), and the Google Maps language. Emails, owners and phone types are always included. Press Search. The search appears under Recent searches as Scraping; most finish in 2–5 minutes. You can leave the page while it runs. ## 3. Open the list Click the finished search. The list has its own address (`/gmaps-scraper/`) and shows every business in a table. Search the results, filter (has email, has website, has phone, has socials, has owner name, has mobile number, no website), choose columns, and click a business to see all its details. ## 4. Export Use Export on a list for all, filtered or selected rows as CSV. On the search page, tick several lists and export them together into one CSV. --- # Authentication Section: Getting Started URL: https://prospectcheap.com/docs/authentication Planned — not available yet. The Prospect Cheap API is being built. This page shows how the endpoint will work so you can plan your integration; the details may change before launch. Until then, use the GMaps Scraper in the dashboard (https://prospectcheap.com/gmaps-scraper). API requests will be authenticated with an API key sent in the `x-api-key` header. You will create and revoke keys from your dashboard. ``` curl https://prospectcheap.com/api/v1/searches \ -H "x-api-key: pc_your_key" ``` ## Keeping keys safe - Keep keys on your server. Never put them in browser code or a public repository. - Use a separate key per integration so you can revoke one without breaking the others. - If a key leaks, revoke it in the dashboard and create a new one. --- # YouTube Scraper Section: Getting Started URL: https://prospectcheap.com/docs/youtube-scraper The YouTube Scraper finds creators on YouTube and returns them as a list — with subscribers, views, their latest upload, the email from their bio or website, the owner's name, social profiles and a ready-to-use personalization line for cold emails. ## Two ways to search - Keyword search — enter a keyword (for example "fitness coach"). YouTube is searched with its own filters and the channels behind the results are collected. When the keyword runs out, YouTube's autocomplete suggestions are searched too (Auto-expand). - Channel URLs — paste up to 100 channels, one per line: `https://www.youtube.com/@handle`, `@handle`, a `/channel/UC…` URL, a channel ID, or a video URL (its uploader is scraped). ## Options Open the sliders button next to Search. - Search — max channels (up to 500), type (videos, shorts, channels, playlists, movies), sort by relevance or popularity, upload date, duration, search region, features (Live, 4K, HD, Subtitles…) and auto-expand. - Channel filters — the country in the search bar keeps only channels from that country (optionally with channels that don't set one); subscribers min / max, minimum videos, last upload within a period, which uploads count as the last one, and the channel's language. - Enrichment — Find email, and Find owner & personalization (AI), which reads the channel and its website for the owner's name and title, the niche, a content summary and a personalization line. ## Credits The same as a Google Maps search: 1 credit for the search plus 1 per channel it saves. The most it could cost is set aside when it starts, and unused credits come back when it finishes. Searches usually take 5–15 minutes. ## Results Each search becomes a list at `/youtube-scraper/`. Search, filter (has email, has owner name, has website, has Instagram, uploaded in the last 30 days, verified), choose columns, export CSV, and click a channel to see everything about it. Avatars, banners and video thumbnails are served from our own CDN. --- # FB Ads Scraper Section: Getting Started URL: https://prospectcheap.com/docs/fb-ads-scraper The FB Ads Scraper searches the Facebook Ads Library and returns every business behind the matching ads — one row per advertiser, with their Facebook page, website, followers, how many ads they run and an email from their website. ## Two ways to search - Keyword search — a keyword that appears in the ads (for example "roofing contractor") and a country. - Ads Library link — open the Ads Library (https://www.facebook.com/ads/library/), set any filters there, search, and paste the address from your browser. ## Options - Max ads — how many ads to read (up to 1,000). Each advertiser is saved once, so you usually get fewer advertisers than ads. - Ads — active ads only, inactive only, or both. - Ad type — all ads, or political & issue, housing, employment or credit ads. - Match — the words in any order, or the exact phrase. - Find emails — visits each advertiser's website (home, contact and about pages) for a public email. ## Credits 1 credit for the search plus 1 per advertiser saved. The most it could cost (1 + max ads) is set aside when it starts, and the rest comes back when it finishes. Searches usually take 2–6 minutes. ## Results Each search becomes a list at `/fb-ads-scraper/` with the same search, filters (has email, has website, 2+ ads, followers, verified…), columns and exports as the other scrapers. Click an advertiser for its details and a link to all of its ads in the Ads Library. --- # Product Hunt Scraper Section: Getting Started URL: https://prospectcheap.com/docs/product-hunt-scraper The Product Hunt Scraper finds startups launching on Product Hunt and returns them as leads — with the founder or owner, their LinkedIn and X, emails and phones from the product's website, social profiles, company details and launch stats. ## Four ways to search - Launches — products launched today, yesterday, in the last 7 or 30 days, or any time; optionally only in chosen categories (a top-level category includes all of its subcategories). - Leaderboard — the top products of a day, week, month or year, going back as many periods as you like. - Keyword search — products matching a keyword (for example "crm"). - Product Hunt links — paste product, leaderboard, category, topic or search pages. ## Options - Max products — the most products the search saves. - Include non-featured launches — adds the launches Product Hunt didn't feature (only without categories). - Only products with an email — skip products with no email found. - Enrichment — maker profiles, product websites (and how many extra pages to read), and AI to pick the owner when Product Hunt doesn't make it clear. ## Credits A credit for the search plus credits for each product saved; the most it could cost is set aside when it starts and the rest comes back when it finishes. Searches usually take 2–10 minutes. ## Results Each search becomes a list at `/product-hunt-scraper/` with the same search, filters, columns and exports as the other scrapers. Click a product for its owner, contact and company details, launch stats and every maker with their links. --- # POST Create Search Section: Endpoints URL: https://prospectcheap.com/docs/create-search Planned — not available yet.
