Template. This is a starting point, not legal advice. Adjust it to what Prospect Cheap actually collects and does, and have it reviewed before launch.
Prospect Cheap ("we", "us") provides the service at https://prospectcheap.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash) when you create an account.
- Billing details — when you subscribe, payments are handled by our payment providers (Stripe or EPS). We receive the plan, amount and payment status; we never see or store your full card number.
- Content you add — anything you upload or create in the service, stored in your workspace.
- Usage and technical data — pages visited, actions taken, device and browser type, IP address and error reports, so we can keep the service running and secure.
How we use it
- To provide the service, run your account and process payments.
- To send emails you need: sign-up confirmation, password resets, receipts and important account notices.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To improve the product, using aggregated information.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only the providers that help us run the service, under their own privacy terms:
- hosting and storage (Cloudflare, Supabase)
- payments (Stripe, EPS)
- email delivery (Resend)
- product analytics, if enabled
We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your workspace content and personal information, except records we must keep by law (for example invoices).
Your choices and rights
You can view and update your account details in Settings, export or delete your content, and ask us to delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights (access, correction, deletion, objection). Contact us to use them.
Cookies
When you first visit, a banner asks which cookies you allow. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie preferences at the bottom of every page.

We keep a record of each choice (a random ID, the categories, the date, your browser and a one-way hash of your IP address) as proof of your consent.
Children
The service is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you by email.
