Who these templates are for
These templates are written for web design studios and freelancers. Each email is short enough to read on a phone, makes one specific offer and asks one easy question.
Where to find the list
Build the list from Google Maps with Prospect Cheap. Search your niche across a few towns and filter by No website or open the website column to spot outdated sites.
Personalisation fields
{FirstName}{Company}{City}{Rating}{Reviews}
Map these to columns in your export (Instantly and GoHighLevel exports already use standard names). Set fallbacks for any field that can be empty.
Email 1 — first email
Subject: website for {Company}
Hi {FirstName} — {Company} has a {Rating} rating from {Reviews} reviews in {City}, but no website for people to check before they call.
I mocked up a homepage for you (attached) — your reviews, your services and a big call button.
Want me to make it live?
Email 2 — follow-up (day 3–4)
Subject: Re: website for {Company}
Hi {FirstName} — quick follow-up. Most people who find {Company} on Google look for a website before calling; without one, many pick the next listing.
The mock-up is yours either way. Should I send a price for making it live?
Email 3 — final follow-up (day 8–10)
Subject: Re: website for {Company}
Hi {FirstName} — I'll leave it here. If a website becomes a priority, reply "site" and I'll pick it up from the mock-up. Good luck with the busy season.
Tips
- A mock-up made for them beats any portfolio link.
- Mention their reviews — owners are proud of them.
- Follow up by phone for trades; many owners don't read email during the day.
- Send from a warmed-up, authenticated domain and keep daily volume modest — see deliverability basics.
- Stop the sequence when someone replies, and remove anyone who opts out.
Make them your own
Templates are a starting point. Replace the observation in the first line with something real about each prospect — the data in your lead list makes that quick. See personalising cold email at scale.
