What MCP gives you

MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets an AI assistant use tools. Prospect Cheap's MCP server gives Claude tools to:

  • search Google Maps, Yelp, Trustpilot, YouTube, FB Ads, Product Hunt, TrustMRR and Skool
  • check a search's status and read the leads
  • list your recent searches and check your credits

Connect it

Claude (web or desktop): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste https://prospectcheap.com/api/mcp. A Prospect Cheap sign-in page opens; approve, and you're connected.

Claude Code: run in your terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http prospect-cheap https://prospectcheap.com/api/mcp

Then type /mcp inside Claude Code and choose Authenticate. Step-by-step instructions for each app are in Connections → MCP.

Ask for leads

  • "Find 30 plumbers in Austin on Yelp and show the ones with an owner email."
  • "Search Trustpilot for solar companies in the UK with a TrustScore of 4 or more."
  • "Get me the newest Product Hunt launches in CRM and list the founders."

Claude starts the search, waits for it to finish and summarises the results. Ask follow-ups — "Write a first line for each" — and it works from the real data.

Costs and safety

Searches use your credits (one per lead). The connection can search and read your lists; it can't change your plan or billing. Disconnect any time in Connections → API keys.
