1. Build and filter the list
Run your Google Maps search in Prospect Cheap, then filter: Has email, plus any targeting filters (rating, no booking link, city).
2. Export the Instantly CSV
Open Export and choose Instantly CSV. It contains only rows with an email and uses column names Instantly recognises: email, first name, last name, company name, phone, website, city and more.
3. Upload to Instantly
In Instantly, create a campaign, go to Leads → Upload CSV and choose the file. Check the column mapping — email must map to Email; first name to First Name; company to Company Name. Custom columns (like category or rating) can be kept as custom variables.
4. Personalise
Use variables in your copy:
"Hi {{firstName}} — saw {{companyName}} has {{reviews}} reviews in {{city}}…"
When the owner's first name is missing, set a fallback ("there").
5. Warm up and pace
Send from warmed-up inboxes, keep daily volume per inbox modest, and spread sends across the day. See deliverability basics.
6. Track replies by segment
Upload separate lists per niche or city to see which segment replies best, then build more of that.
GoHighLevel instead?
Choose the GoHighLevel CSV export to import contacts with phones and emails into your sub-account, ready for workflows and calls. See importing lead lists into a CRM.
Clean before you upload
Remove leads you won't help (wrong category, chains), drop obvious role-only duplicates across locations, and verify emails if the list is large. A smaller, cleaner list protects your sending accounts.
Split by segment
Upload one list per niche or city and write the copy for that segment. "Dentists in Austin" lets you mention Austin and dentistry; a mixed list forces generic copy.
Keep variables safe
Missing values break personalisation. In Instantly, set fallbacks for {{firstName}} and avoid variables that are often empty, like owner title, in subject lines.
