The basics
On Prospect Cheap, one credit = one lead you receive. Enrichment — emails, owner names, phones, socials — is included.
Reserved, then settled
When you start a search, the credits for the most it could return are set aside. When it finishes:
- you pay one credit for each lead you got
- unused credits go straight back to your balance
- a search that fails costs nothing
If your balance can't cover a search, Prospect Cheap tells you before it starts rather than shrinking the search quietly.
Plan credits and extra credits
- Plan credits come with your subscription each month and are used first. They reset at each renewal.
- Extra credits (top-ups and packs, for subscribers) roll over month to month while you're subscribed.
- When a subscription ends, remaining credits end with it.
Plans
- Starter — 10,000 credits a month, $29
- Growth — 50,000 credits a month, $79
- Scale — 200,000 credits a month, $199
Yearly billing is available at a lower effective price. New accounts get 100 free credits.
Top-ups
Subscribers can buy extra credits any time, charged instantly to the saved card or paid on a secure checkout page.
Estimating a search
Keywords × locations × results per keyword gives the most a search could cost. Real results are usually lower, and the difference is refunded automatically.
See pricing.
Example
You start a search that could return up to 1,500 leads, so 1,500 credits are reserved. It returns 1,120. You're charged 1,120 credits and 380 go straight back to your balance.
Key takeaways
- One credit equals one lead received.
- Unused and failed-search credits are returned.
- Plan credits reset monthly; extra credits roll over while subscribed.
