Who these templates are for
These templates are written for local SEO agencies and consultants. Each email is short enough to read on a phone, makes one specific offer and asks one easy question.
Where to find the list
Build the list from Google Maps with Prospect Cheap. Search the niche and city, then filter to rank 4–15 with a rating of 4+ and a website.
Personalisation fields
{FirstName}{Company}{Keyword}{City}{Rank}
Map these to columns in your export (Instantly and GoHighLevel exports already use standard names). Set fallbacks for any field that can be empty.
Email 1 — first email
Subject: {Company} on Google Maps
Hi {FirstName} — I searched "{Keyword} {City}" and {Company} shows #{Rank}. The top three get most of the calls.
The businesses above you mainly win on review count and a more complete profile. I wrote up the five changes I'd make first — want it?
Email 2 — follow-up (day 3–4)
Subject: Re: {Company} on Google Maps
Hi {FirstName} — one specific item from the list: your profile has no services listed, which is part of why you don't show for related searches. Should I send the rest?
Email 3 — final follow-up (day 8–10)
Subject: Re: {Company} on Google Maps
Hi {FirstName} — last note from me. If ranking higher on Maps becomes a priority, the audit is yours, free. Just reply "audit".
Tips
- Use their real rank and keyword — it's the strongest opener in local SEO.
- Never promise a position; promise the work and reporting.
- Offer a short audit before a call.
- Send from a warmed-up, authenticated domain and keep daily volume modest — see deliverability basics.
- Stop the sequence when someone replies, and remove anyone who opts out.
Make them your own
Templates are a starting point. Replace the observation in the first line with something real about each prospect — the data in your lead list makes that quick. See personalising cold email at scale.
