The script

Opener

"Hi, is this {FirstName}? This is {YourName} from {YourCompany}."

Permission

"I'll be quick — have you got 30 seconds?"

Reason for calling

"I was looking at {Company} on Google — you've got {Reviews} great reviews, but {observation: no website / you show 7th for '{Keyword}' / no online booking}."

Question

"Is getting more calls from Google something you're working on this year?"

Next step (if yes or maybe)

"I put together a short {mock-up / audit / idea list} for you. What's the best email to send it to?"

Common objections

"I'm busy."

"Totally — when's a better time for a 2-minute call? Or I can just email it."

"Send me an email."

"Will do — what's the best address? I'll mention this call in the subject."

"Not interested."

"No problem at all. Can I ask — is it the timing or just not a priority?" (Then thank them and log it.)

"We get enough work."

"Great to hear. Do you ever turn work away, or want more of a specific kind of job?"

Tips

  • Call when owners are free: early morning or late afternoon for trades.
  • Prepare 20 leads before you start; glance at each lead's detail first.
  • Log every call in your CRM.
  • Follow calling rules where you are (do-not-call lists, rules on mobiles).
